Do you make this excuse too?

Some people excel in one aspect of life and they make that as an excuse to fail in everything else.

They excel at work and that’s their excuse for not spending time with family, not being fit and healthy.

Some people are/seem happy and that happiness is their excuse to not excel at work or financially.

They argue that being happy and content is the ultimate goal and they have achieved it.

(But let’s see how content they look when they have to rush to the hospital for an emergency surgery with an empty purse).

Excelling in one dimension of life is NOT AN EXCUSE for being mediocre in every other dimension.

Its like spending all your life guarding just one door of your home leaving the remaining five for the anyone to trespass. There is simply no point doing it.
